Join Us for Youth Mental Health First Aid Training! Dear PSD families and staff,  Learn how to help youth experiencing mental health challenges in your community! Join PSD, the Gig Harbor Key Peninsula Suicide Prevention Coalition, and the Boys & Girls Clubs for a two day Mental Health First Aid Training.  Event Details: What: Youth Mental Health First Aid Training When: November 19th & 20th, 5:00–8:30 pm (You must attend both days) Where: Key Peninsula Middle School, 5510 Key Peninsula Hwy NW Special Note: Dinner provided both nights, with opportunities to win prizes! Who Should Attend: Parents and other caring adult community members who want to learn how to support youth experiencing mental health challenges. What You'll Learn: Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health issues in youth. Understand effective ways to interact with young people in crisis. Learn the ALGEE action plan to respond to mental health situations. Discover resources to connect youth with help. Youth Activities Available: While adults attend training, youth ages 6–18 are invited to participate in a fun, supervised Game Night led by Boys & Girls Club staff.
